Another celebrity golfer turned so-called 'designer', Nick Price was a well loved and respected professional who won three majors during his playing career. His entry into golf course design started with the moderately successful McArthur Golf Club in Jupiter Florida, which he helped Tom Fazio design. It's unclear how much input Price had in the final routing and design here, and equally whether he will devote himself full-time to pursuing a career as a golf course designer.
From a marketing perspective, Nick Price might make sense in some regions as a designer for your project, but developers looking to create genuine top quality golf courses should consider him as part of a co-design team with a Quality Golf Architect.
