Padraig Harrington is yet another celebrity golfer turned so-called 'designer', the three-time major champion partnering with IMG Golf Course Services to provide designs to clients in need of a marketable brand name. The Harrington hole at the Legends Resort in South Africa is an ominous warning that Harrington's design 'work' ethic is unlikely to match that of his playing career. Unless he establishes his own design practice and gets more heavily involved in the process of course creation, we can only recommend Padraig Harrington in partnership with a genuine Quality Golf Architect.
