Ian Stanley is a former Australian touring professional, who started to seriously focus on course design when his playing career wound down in the mid-2000s.
After a few years spent working with Peter Thomson at Thomson Perrett, Stanley established Ian Stanley Golf & Associates with friend Geoffrey Carruthers, in the hope of attracting new course projects and redesigns.
A much loved figure in Australian golf, Stanley sadly passed away in 2018.
