Represented by IMG, and therefore available to act as a so-called 'course designer' via their Golf Course Design Services business, instructor David Leadbetter is an odd fit for golf architecture and appears unlikely to build himself a large course portfolio.

His course at Mission Hills in China was designed and built by Schmidt Curley and occupies a decent tract of land beneath the Dongguan hills. It’s a reasonable layout, that we understand David Leadbetter had minimal involvement creating.
